      Not a Good Company for an American

      Pros

      Huge company with clients all of the world. Involved in almost every technology area.

      Cons

      The culture here is very different and not Western or American friendly. The company owes me for two expenses reports (around $2,000) and half a regular paycheck. They messed up my job and I ended up doing something that I was not hired to do.

      Pros

      Many projects, many locations, diverse technology footprint, money to spend, hard work (but frustrated) teams.

      Cons

      A lot of nepotism and promotion from "Good Old Boy" network, average pay, long hours, no work/life balance, unrealistic expectations of management, constant moving, real bad internal HR and IT systems, less than cost of living wage increases, frustrated workforce and on top of that clueless management in India.

      Autonomy, laid back atmosphere, opportunity to learn and grow. Smart, talented, and ambitious people. Freedom to pursue interests. Global culture is engaged and tight-knit. Variety of projects and clients.

      Cons

      They are a startup within a larger corporate org, growing rapidly and leadership is trying to scale appropriately. The mother corp can be a drag with lots of red tape.
