The work environment here is extremely toxic. You’ll find yourself working late into the night, only to have upper management completely overlook or misunderstand the value of your efforts the next day. There’s a shocking lack of appreciation in this place. It seems like being rude and unfriendly is a requirement to fit in, as that’s the behavior you’ll encounter everywhere. It feels like HR is nonexistent, given the constant disregard for basic workplace conduct. As for feedback? Forget about it. Offering constructive criticism is met with hostility, turning a simple conversation into a confrontation.

In my specific role as a grocery Associate, it very bad for your sleep and thus health. It's impossible to work a night shift, have a day off and then work a morning shift the next day. You are basically guaranteed to be sleep deprived for a few days of the week. I wouldn't mind this so much if I was getting paid more, I feel like forgoing a healthy sleep schedule should warrant more than minimum wage.
