Pros

Dynamic and fast-paced atmosphere that constantly demands employees to learn fast and adapt to different working styles. IFC has a diverse & multicultural environment, which is good to feel immersed in a global organization, but challenging when facing different cultural traits. Mostly, I have found great colleagues and a collaborative approach from most of them.

Cons

Bureaucracy, slow decision-making. Not much work-life balance, limited career growth and promotion. HR is very disorganized and not very helpful or proactive. The organization is like an inverted pyramid (with lots of senior positions on top and less officers and analysts doing the demanding work), so there is a lot of pressure and work for these types of positions.
