Pros

A good place to work if you want to be "in the conversation" on international development and institutional reforms. You get exposed to a lot of issues which provides a good base for a career in international development.

Cons

Contracting issues for younger staff. You can spend several years on a jungle gym of various consulting-type contracts before you get a chance to be a permanent staff.
