Pros

The people there are amazing to work with!

Cons

The system they have to in place for people to work remotely was not the best.

Pros

The bank is full of unusual people from all over the world working on problems that are interesting and important at face value.

Cons

This place is pure politics. Everything is driven by self-serving narratives rather than facts and evidence. Anyone who cares about delivering high integrity work is unlikely to be satisfied with the impact of their contributions or even to escape inner conflict over being in the room at times. I witnessed or experienced several kinds of extremely bad behavior that HR warns about during onboarding, ranging from "wage theft" to questionable vendor relationships. I expected typical institutional baggage but this is above and beyond.
