Pros

Great brand, opportunities for doing very impactful work

Cons

Deeply technical people in Managerial positions. Lots of very old people on hefty salaries who have completely lost touch with reality and are deeply inefficient but refuse to retire. "Senior Specialist" age ranges from Age 37-coffin (its frankly ridiculous). I have seen highly incompetent people getting nothing done simply because of their term positions. If you're someone who likes to work with a sense of urgency and get things moving, you are likely to be deeply frustrated.

Pros

Interesting job, and good compensation.

Cons

Manipulation by managers to get you to do anything they want with a promise of staff position. Understaffed as an organization, it is all about head count, hence most of the work is done by consultants, while the staff reaps the praise and benefits.
