Pros

Stability, the WB is a well-established institution. Your job is safe.

Cons

It is very difficult to get promoted to a higher level, even with a master degree. It seems better to leave and reapply than to get promoted after being a program assistant.

Pros

This is an excellent working environment if you are committed to making a difference and contributing to economic development in the world. You have the chance to team up with people from various countries with different backgrounds, sharing the same vision as you of helping countries and communities to reduce poverty and to implement the best practice solutions in various economic and social environments.

Cons

Limited flexibility of large organizations.
