Pros

Our cause is awesome and we reach people at the grass root level. So if you want to be a part of a team that makes a difference to the lives of those less fortunate and in post conflict countries, this is definitely the place to do that.

Cons

Lots of red tape and a typical government mentality...

Pros

Less stringent environment compared with corporate, cool workplace with some fiery situations on occasions, low accountability issues, relaxed and rich surroundings, great for those who can speak fluently and act.

Cons

Less than your worth in market but enough to live well, severe lack of transparency in operations, too much of duality of purpose, often confused communication, directionless and individualistic management.

Pros

Good salary, good vacation and benefits

Cons

Competitive, workaholic culture, perverse incentives for performance and un-transparent decision-making.
