Intellectually stimulating. Nice work environment. Intense, challenging. Good IT system. In-person access to the world

Cons

no room for promotion. Exclusive for those who have been theri since their 20s. Works like a club and is not giving any new members anything meaningful

Pros

Exposure to great people and resources is a big reason to work here. I had a short term position and wish I had had more time to take advantage of the opportunities there.

Cons

There would be occasional corporate events, but in general (due in part to all the travel and turnover) there no office culture to rave about.

-Prestigious place to work. -Compensation is pretty good. -Unique chance to see projects/development from a unique perspective. -Few projects are actually very interesting while the majority are not.

Cons

-Highly political office environment. -Promotions/hiring of staff extremely inconsistent and mostly political. -Career path highly dependent on who your manager is. -Extreme bureaucracy.
