Pros

- A great cause to work for. - Visible outcomes of the work you put in. - Great team environment where everyone, no matter what level or nationality, has a voice. - Exciting and important missions to various disaster- and conflict-affected communities. - Generous travel/mission compensation. - Great HR presence. - International healthcare benefits.

Cons

- Although rare, you may encounter some staff who are racist. - Who you know can make or break your career moves within the organization. - Long missions are great for single folks, but people with families may encounter difficulties from being away from their loved ones for extended periods of time. - Limited number of holidays.
