-Sense of making a difference -Ability to see parts of the world you otherwise wouldn't -Generous compensation offered for a humanitarian agency

Cons

-Much of the work is very mechanical; not particularly stimulating -Management and HR practices leave a lot to be desired -Enforced mobility of staff at short notice can be extremely disruptive
