Poor place to work

Pros

Worked here for just over 5 years now. I have never seen a facility go backwards as fast as this one has. You have a safety girl that thinks she's God, a plant manager that also thinks she's a god, heads of other departments (qc,maintenance, 420, transformation) all just a joke. People knowingly smoke weed before their shift, people are harassed by other employees and management, just an overall disgruntled work force. Pay is below average, raises are minimal (i haven't missed a day or had any incidents in 3 years, my last raise as 1%) vacation is minimal as well.

Cons

Everything more or less, including work around the holidays. No chance for advancement, when it's your turn to learn a new area, they will drag their feet getting you trained. The culture here is depressing.

Pros

They offer a somewhat competitive salary with annual opportunities for a performance raise. Although it is quite difficult and completely subjective to qualify for a decent raise.

Cons

Little to no regard or empathy for the needs of their employees. Management that is willing to take ethically questionable shortcuts. Poor communication between upper management and the rest of the company. A combative HR department that does not advocate for their employees.
