Cons

unethical co-workers, a manager who doesn't hold people accountable, lied to during the interview process...should I keep going?

Pros

Entry level pay is standard for a customer service representative at about $10/hr You meet some nice people at work Its normally a pretty safe environment to work

Cons

Xerox has become a vendor site for a lot of companies such as Aetna and Sprint. The customer service representatives they hiring are not the top of the line candidates. They are constantly late with paychecks and numerous employees have been charged with contempt of court due to Xerox not completing paperwork in a timely manner for deduction or child support orders. Xerox also doesn't work with your schedule.

Pros

I worked in a Verizon Wireless Xerox call center in Federal Way. There was unlimited overtime and I adored my coworkers! Scheduling was also fairly flexible.

Cons

My biggest problem with this job was the dishonesty. Our pay was based on our statistics on phone calls (anywhere from minimum wage to $13.96/ hour), which meant that people would do whatever was needed to get good statistics, including completely lying to customers to get them off the phone. It is a very negative atmosphere where people tend to hate their job. There is also a lot of miscommunication about policies and expectations, which leaves customer service agents scrambling to figure out what to do on many calls.
