      Pros

      Yandex is really a modern tech company. Smart people, interesting projects, flexible working hours, beautiful office, rather good insurance, nice business trips to Moscow HQ if needed

      Cons

      Office could have better location in St. Petersburg Big company - some processes can be not so efficient as they could be Salary is less than you can earn with same skills in other companies World conferences (e.g. IO, WWDC) sometimes are not sponsored due to low budget/non-core profile

      Salaries aren't as good as could be. Developers leave to work abroad after training here.

      Fast-paced environment, lots of smart devs around, and tons of really interesting and challenging projects. A great place to grow professionally.

      Cons

      Yandex is a Russian company, and HQ is in Moscow. For some people this might be a blocker.
