Pros

Interning at adidas was truly a great experience. All of the employees are so nice and, as a recent graduate, they all seemed to want to help me land a full-time position since that is the usual desired next step for interns who are no longer in school. The "campus" as they call it (aka the layout of the headquarters) is about as fun, creative, and sports-oriented as the individuals who work there. There are on campus indoor and outdoor basketball courts, a soccer field and tennis courts. There is also an adidas gym, an on-site stores with employee discounts, and a great food court. I interned during the World Cup in soccer which is the adidas strong suit in the sports world. The atmosphere, therefore, was amazing. People would work hard but also take breaks occasionally to catch a good soccer half and support adidas-sponsored teams. Many employees workout on their midday lunch breaks in stead of eating to catch a break from the desk life, and simply bring their food back with them afterwards. The bottom line is that adidas is a fun place to work. It encourages healthy living, laughing, and improving of the sports world.

Cons

My only real con is the location. I wish I could move adidas from Portland to California or Florida or to just about any one of the other major cities in the US. If you're from the pacific northwest then you're lucky because you'll be used to it. As someone from the east coast, however, the grey and rainy days and truly odd Oregonian culture were a little bit much for me. The people are really nice and there are things to do. The summer is not as dreary as the rest of the year and is actually pretty beautiful. All in all, however, that really can be a deal breaker.

Pros

Adidas AG has one of the best company cultures I've ever seen or heard of. There is a high standard of mutual respect between employees and leaders.

Cons

Indian Part of this company is partly horrible due to its leaders who are a gang. HR has a God complex and they think they own you.

Pros

Back in the days, there were several transitions to bring tasks from other countries. As a result, opportunities to travel to those countries and learn there were created.

Cons

It is a highly sexist company. Director Carlos has a WhatsApp group with other men to organize football games, but in this group, they only share offensive things about women - shared by the director himself - which does not set a good example. I was sexually harassed by my manager on several occasions, despite having excellent performance, I received a rating of 2 in my evaluation because I did not go out to dinner with him (knowing that 3 is the baseline rating that a woman on maternity leave receives). Director Carlos and other employees went to a strip club when they were in Latin America. During a World Cup football match between Portugal and Morocco, Director Carlos said, ‘They should be selling carpets’ referring to the Moroccans. Overall, horrible leadership. And, of course, only friends of the managers are promoted. Lack of Staff: I worked countless overtime hours, often leaving early in the morning.
