Dear colleague, Thank you for your valuable feedback. I'm glad you like our flexible work arrangements. You may not know that we have implemented the People Governance, where employees are encouraged to participate in the programs under D.A.R.E. & Communication actively. As an employee, I recommend that you actively approach your HRBP to help you be involved in the company's activities. Should you require more information on People Governance or have more ideas in improving the organization. Please do not hesitate to contact your local HRBP tongheng.seah@ams-osram.com. We look forward to working with you to make Singapore a better working environment. Kind regards, Katrin Klug-Jud HR Communication / Social Media Manager

Pros

Probably only salary is average enough to attract people to come.

Cons

1. Messy organization and no clear directions of where each sites are working towards. 2. Very biased management style. You only rise if you know how to bootlick your boss and get in their good books, then it will become super obvious who in the team is favoured by boss. If you ain’t the type who can bootlick, no matter how hard you work, the boss will not appreciate. What you do will end up being taken by the bootlickers to put in their powerpoint slides to present to boss and becomes “their work”. 3. Managers only know how to open mouth and talk, but do not care abt people working under them. Most of the times, what they suggest is not feasible at all as they have not get down to the ground and try it themselves. 4. Very few benefits and lack of team bonding spirit here. All year round, you don’t see any celebrations or welfare kind of packs/items. Team leaders/managers hardly treat team for anything to raise motivation.

Dear Glassdoor member, we are sorry to hear that you had an uncomfortable experience during your time at ams OSRAM. This is not the experience we want for our colleagues, as our aspiration is that everyone should feel comfortable in our company. Nevertheless, we are convinced that a good corporate culture can only be created if everyone works together constructively. This includes both, employees and management. So if you want to contribute to this process, please contact me via e-mail: katrin.klug-jud@ams-osram.com. Kind regards, Katrin Klug-Jud HR Communication / Social Media Manager
