With SalonLab&Me, Henkel recently launched the first hyper-personalized B2B2C brand for professional hair care! This new hair care line by Schwarzkopf Professional offers a digital salon experience through a professional hairdresser. Clients can now receive a personalized recommendation for their exact hair type and style, while hairdressers have the opportunity to test out this new B2B2C business model. This exciting project is based on SalonLab&Me's hair analysis, which is carried out individually by the salon.
Henkel has partnered with Siegwerk to develop a new solution for recyclable flexible packaging. The company shares a similar interest in sustainability and innovation in the packaging industry, and the result of this partnership with Henkel has been a great success so far! Our new solution performs excellently, enables mono-material flexible packaging and is therefore easier to recycle, which creates exciting potential to accelerate the transition to a circular economy.

On the World Heart Day, we asked Andreas how he makes an impact as a Director of Corporate Health. "This year we introduced the Henkel Check-up in our HQ wherein every employee can do a holistic medical check-up including modules like general health and physio check, skin check, and heart check. Henkel Korea has announced the completion of its state-of-the-art Songdo Plant within the Songdo High-tech Industrial Cluster in Incheon, which will become the Asia-Pacific production hub for high-impact electronics solutions of the Adhesive Technologies business unit. With a total floor area of 10,144 square meters and in a two-story building, the Songdo Plant implements an advanced smart factory system (SFS), enhancing process monitoring, data collection and troubleshooting. After undergoing trial production and quality verification since last year, the plant began production in the second half 2022.
