"50% match up to 8%, plus 6% on top, for a grand total of 10%. This is outstanding and I do not know of anyone who tops that. If you make $100 and max out your 401k, you're putting away $28k a year."

Overall benefit package was at least competitive with if not better than most companies today. Medical coverage and 401K plans were better than most plans offered by other companies.

Lots of time off (4 weeks anytime, 40 hours PTO, 40 hours floating time to use anytime, all major holidays are off). Health benefits are about average with a high deductible plan, 401 contributions are great and invest in Lockheed Stock which will only continue to rise.
