They are not better than other companies

Worst is the high deductible health insurance they recently switched to. Good 401k though.

Health coverage for salary is high deductible only. You pay weekly premiums for a family totalling $4k annually, then you don't get a cent covered unless you've spent an additional $7k deductible. Although annual checkups are free, you'd better not get sick, otherwise you're in for eye-popping multiple bills from one visit - facility, doctor, lab, lab analyst.

The company match was always good. The health care benefits went down hill dramatically through the years.

Newest health plan has extremely high deductibles. Maternity leave is 7 weeks paid, 12 weeks total. Paternity leave is one week paid.

High company contribution to retirement plans (2% outright, and match employee's contribution up to 4%, meaning as much as 6%).

Health benefits had a deductible that crept up to over $1,000 by the time I left. It wouldn't cover anything unless you paid that much money out for the year. It was also an expensive deduction out of your weekly pay. The only redeeming benefit at Lockheed was that they paid for my Masters. They require you to stay for a year after completion, but I didn't and had to pay it back.
