Generous 401k matching adds real value to compensation package

The flexible work schedule is very easy to use. This issue with Lockheed is there are 5 business units

They have a lot of stuff available to you. If you can think of it, it is probably available

Lockheed's medical insurance was not all that great before the Obamacare changes came. In retrospect, I left Lockheed largely because the benefits were not helping me get ahead. At the end of the day though, once Obamacare came through, my great benefits at my new company were worse than what Lockheed had already offered.

Company 401K match was nice

Very generous retirement plan. Nice health benefits.

Comprehensive package that puts employee first.

The benefits are not why anyone would ever come work here. Not great at all.

Good working atmosphere. Flex time. 9 day-80 hour work week with Fridays off. Competitive pay and all legal holidays paid. Interesting technical design and analysis.

High deductible before coverage takes place. Not worth it unless if you get into a serious accident.
