Previously being in the military, it appears that the company benefits package is comparable to the Military's. Health care and employee health and well being is important to the company

A fair combination of decent pay, good health care, and the occasional perk like a free on-site gym and wellness center. There is tuition reimbursement programs for those willing to put in the work.

Lockheed provides many different benefits. Depending on when you started with the company and under which company ledger you were hired determines your available benefits. Therefore, you and the person sitting next to you could have very different benefits. At this time the company is going through a very meaningful transition and the benefits are changing.

Generous paid time off, 401(k) plus pension (not for new hires, but most new hires still get an additional retirement contribution beyond 401(k).

Lockheed's benefits package is great!! It includes health/dental/eye, 401k, vacation...the normal stuff.

Through the years the employee contribution steadily increased and copays also increased.

Vacation policy, while not overly generous (3 weeks), is reasonably flexible. Vacation and sick leave are separate, so if you happen to get sick, you don't have to modify your vacation plans. And scheduling vacation doesn't have lots of restrictions (varies some from site to site)

Worst: Actually getting a answer live and in person with an HR rep vice having to call a help desk.

All benefits management is online and easy to use/understand. Fairly straightforward sign-up and adjusting.

Good 401k match- 8% for up to 20% of contribution. Medical insurance is getting worse and worse.
