Difficult questions, nice people, they take themselves very seriously and expect a lot out of you they want you to do a good job. they had multiple rounds of interviews
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 3M (Saint Paul, MN) in Apr 2025
Interview
Their chatbot reached out with the initial request for an interview - it was a somewhat confusing introduction, felt very cold. I spoke with a Recruiter who right away asked me about compensation and then took several minutes to look up the salary range and go into detail about it to tell me where I would place. Again, felt very cold, instead of like a getting-to-know-you conversation. Told me the role could be remote (as listed in the posting). Next I spoke with the hiring manager (one of them?) who said it wasn't a remote role. It was clear there was a lot of disorganization in the TA team and a rotating line up of managers and VPs. I was not interested in the role and withdrew after that.
