Met with Aldi reps at a Job Fair and was then granted an interview at the store. I was told to "wear comfortable shoes." The interview is a song-and-dance routine that would anger any prospective emoployee. The store manager just wants to see if you can walk and talk at the same time. The interview consisted of me running around the store following the manager, who never stopped working, while I talked to the back of his head. They're trying to make the point very clear that you will never stop working-- and their incentive of better pay is because they don't staff the store with enough employees. (So yes, you might make more at Aldis, but they are getting twice the work out of one employee. And if you don't get your assigned tasks done, it falls on your co-workers. That's great for morale, right? Please don't waste your time with this backwards company, as an employee or a customer.
