ALDI Store Assistant interview questions

I applied for a position at Aldi online and received an email a week later asking me to come in for a group interview. The group interview situation was the strangest and most inefficient that I've ever attended. There were 9 of us in a room with the area manager. We all answered a set of questions - name, work history, study history, store preference, availability and why we want to work for Aldi. Then the area manager told us about the job and proceeded to ask if we had any questions. There were a few people who dominated the questions - mainly the older people. The younger candidates did not get to have a say. I don't know how the candidates for the next step were chosen. I didn't get through to the one on one interviews, and I wish they gave us feedback. I asked questions, maintained eye contact and tried to contribute to the conversation despite there being a lack of conversation. I also have 6 years of supermarket experience that I was not able to highlight because the group interview was barely an interview.

Completed the online form and called for the one to one interview. It was easy and then called for the store visit as next round. Didn't pass this round. During visit, within five minutes of meeting assistant manager, I was pretty sure that I'm not getting selected. There is another lady who came for interview with forty years of retail experience. Manager was so biased towards the other person, and she was just making eye contact and asking questions only to the other interviewee. During the store visit, the whole time the manager had been showing and talking only to the other person. We were asked to put stock on the shop floor. While I was keeping stock, they went back to the warehouse. I had been searching all over the shop floor to find them and finally went to warehouse and find them standing over there. I had mentioned that I had been searching for them in the shop floor. The other interviewee said sorry but the manager did hear what I said but didn't say a thing. Such an unprofessional and biased interview. The manager liked the other person more doesn't mean that she can't behave better to others. She hardly made any eye contact with me during the whole process.I should've walked out of the whole stupid thing. First level interview was done by area manager who was really polite and well mannered.
