ALSTOM interview questions

Three steps interview process: one with HR, second with the Team leader/manager of the team that I was supposed to join, and then during the last interview they tested my language skills. (since this was a position that required an advanced level of Spanish.) During the HR interview they asked the basic questions (why do you want to leave your current job, why do you want to work here, describe previous experiences etc.); the second interview focused more on the previous experiences in procurement and they asked specific questions related to this field; last interview was in Spanish to test my communication skills in this language.

The interviewers were friendly. My understanding of the mechanical engineering concepts were tested thoroughly. Conceptual questions were asked. I had to describe my summer project thoroughly. Machine design is one of the important subjects.
