Interview
30 minute phone screen. face-to-face: 1 hour with each interviewer, had 4 interviews. Mix of behavioral and technical questions, but these interviewers did not appear to have coordinated between them what areas they would ask about.
Facilities, offices, work environment in Austin is very modern and well maintained.

Question 1
The level of technical questions vs. project management skills were a bit surprising for a Program Manager.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AMD (Austin, TX) in Feb 2009
Interview
I was referred to the org through a friend, and applied via their website. Within a period of two weeks, I received a call from the recruitment team. I was given a traditional interview screen consisting on my main strengths, work and product background, current position, and reasons for leaving (only got into my current compensation late in the process).
A few days after that, I was screened by the hiring manager. Following that I came in for a day of interviews (5 -6 people). A week following I received an offer, and had flexibility to negotiate some aspects. Had to pass a background check before it became official. All total, it took about a month or so for the whole process.... again, very traditional.

Question 1
I don't recall there being any "difficult" questions... I seem to remember that some of the questions were repeated by different interviewers.
