I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at ASDA (Hartlepool, England) in Sep 2015
Interview
You have to do a long online questionnaire thing then go to 'Asda Magic' which is a group interview. You get put in a room with a few other people and get put in teams to do various tasks - I had to come up with a way to make the store become more parent/ baby friendly. You then each have to do an individual interview (in the staff cafeteria at the same table people were having their lunch which was a little off putting). Following this, you go onto the shop floor with a checklist of things you have to find then do 15-20 minutes of work (I wasnt allowed to do this as they said they didnt have time for me to) but still got the job? And then thats it basically.
Rugby scrum we were all in together and there did not seem to be any filtering process- if you were in the room you had a job- with no choice of where you are put within the store..... Managers seemed to want to be your mate rather than be professional
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ASDA (Leamington, England) in Oct 2015
