I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AT&T (Piscataway, NJ) in Apr 2012
Interview
The work culture was good. I honestly wasn't prepared. They give you a list to check off what you know online, so be honest about what you check off, since they will ask you about it. I thought I was proficient with the list, but turned out I had a high level understanding of the list items. Make sure your rate yourself honestly.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AT&T (Gainesville, FL) in Oct 2012
Interview
Once called in for an interview, had to speak with the hiring manager which the questions are pretty standard. Mostly situational and behavior questions. Normally they will call you in the next 2 days to schedule an live simulation of what a typical day is at AT&T. But she schedule mine for the next day right then and there. Once in the next portion, spoke with the store manager and he explained how the scheduling, bonus, and benefits worked. Once he finished he did express his interest in me, said I would hear back once my file gets to upper management and makes its way back down to him.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T in Oct 2012
Interview
Applied through my school's career website, got a call back a couple weeks later to set up an interview. The recruiter suggested attending a live information session detailing the program (training, relocation, job summary, salary, etc), which was very informative. Had two interviews which consisted of mostly the same questions: asking about my experiences and how I handled different situations, why I want to work in business sales, etc. Pretty basic interview, it seems like they want candidates who wish to build a long term career in sales, and don't just want to use the program as a jumping off point into other areas of AT&T (which is what I wanted to do).
