The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Greensboro, NC) in Feb 2010
Interview
I was a current employee interviewing for a promotion in another center. The downside of this process is AT&T had already chosen the person they were going to promote and yet still interviewed others in order to put up the facade that this process was legitimate. This often happen with internal promotions at AT&T. The interview process involved a 30 minute phone interview as well as a project detailing an action plan for the first month in the position. I was declined as a candidate but informed that I was the runner up for the position.

Question 1
Give me and example of a time where you had to deal with a challenging situation and what you did to overcome it.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T in Apr 2012
Interview
Applied online, got called by a staffing manager a week later who wanted to verify my interest, We set up a phone interview for later the same week with a hiring manager. The hiring manager called right on time. The interview had very few technical questions (all of which pertained to experience with Office), and mostly personality. I didn't think it went very well, but I got called back the following week to schedule a 1:1 interview for the week after that. Went to the interview, mostly personality again with a more detailed description of the program. I thought this interview went very well, but I wasn't selected out of the 4 people competing for the position.

Question 1
What would you say to your supervisor if you thought they were wrong about something they asked you to do?
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AT&T (San Dimas, CA) in Nov 2011
Interview
Getting hired for this company is a joke, they put more value in the online skills and personality test than they actually do in the interview. If you get called in for an interview you basically have been hired already you just need to stress importance of customer service even though the company talks like its a number one priority once you actuall finish training and work for them its all about meeting sales quotas and making money.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Honestly there was no real unique interview questions. just the standard look over your resume ask about your pior jobs, what you liked and didst like. There human resources department is a joke. The company puts on a front to you intially saying its all about customer service but once u start actual work the whole culture of the company is completely disguisting. they just want you to suck ever penny out of ever customer. they even have a rating for the value of a customer on a computer when you look them up. It basically tells you how important they are to you and if they spend allot of money with AT&T then you give them better customer service
