I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T in May 2011
Interview
Applied for an internal job, had a phone interview which seem (in my opinion) to go very well. Hiring manager seemed to be selling the job to me instead of the other way around. Hiring manager was supposedly in a hurry to hire multiple people. I promptly followed up with a thank you email, sent a follow up email the following week letter them know I was still very interested. Didn't receive any response back. Job was reposted and no one has been hired as far as I know. Something weird going on.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2011
Interview
low pay compared to competition, no room for promotion, have cut back on bonuses, have cut back on most all perks, no incentive to work hard, no employee investment or appreciation or interest to retain employees. Hiring Manager very nice, but extremely busy. Long periods in-between interviews due to vacation schedules. Was told down stream interviews would take place, that email would be sent, and were not, only to receive one later. Was asked to create presentation deck before going to next level in interview process. Leadership was late to interview by 45 minutes then kept losing signal and dropping the call while on the interview. Then went to next discussion - 3rd Interview with a counter part on other coast, which operated differently - now sure what the point of the discussion was about, or what the value add was there, but received an offer nevertheless.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AT&T (Denver, CO) in Jun 2009
Interview
The hiring manager had an urgent need for an IT Project Manager so we discussed this position over the phone for about 35 minutes. The job was offered and I accepted.
