The process took 5 days. I interviewed at AT&T in Jan 2009
Interview
The AT&T company has been the home of job ever since graduating from Engineering School with a MS in Mechanical Engineering. I recieved a call asking about an interview for a "High-Management" Position at one of the AT&T Call-Center. They were offering me $95,000+ (USD). They asked me multiple questions about my under-grad degree as well as my graduate degree. They also implied that if I wanted a bigger, more innovative job, (working at the AT&T tower in Downtown Atlanta) They would like to see me go back to school for an MBA.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AT&T (Ocala, FL) in Oct 2010
Interview
Online application results in viewing a powerpoint presentation at home connected to a live conference call. Then onsite for another online test. If that test is passed, 1:1 interview is held. If you are hired, they call you and let you know the pay based upon your phone experience and sales experience. Background check is conducted by a 3rd party vendor. once that is cleared then start date is based upon the next training class schedule.
