I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AT&T (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Applied online. Two days later I recieved an email for an assessment test to be taken the week after. Took a relatively easy test, mostly wiring and mechanical questions. I passed the test and they informed me that they would call me within the next week for second interview. About four days later I recieved email for second interview which took place about a week later. Second interview consisted of company overview and position requirements. Then a one on one interview with a manager. They only ask a few questions on experience and customer service. Interview went well and they said they would call me in a week if I advance to next level in interview process. About a week later I recieved a call and they asked me to go in and take drug test and physical within 2 days. Completed that. About two weeks went by after drug test and no word from AT&T. So I called them. They said I was qualified and they were waiting for a position to open. About. A week later they called me and made an offer.

Interview
It took a while, with a phone interview, I had to drive a couple hours to meet a recruiter, and then an interview with my future manager.
I lucked into the interview process according to the phone interviewer who told me they get thousands of applicants and only interview a couple. The phone interview was very easy, it was just basic stuff like would you be ok with the schedule and a commission based environment etc.
The recruiter was the hardest part. I had to drive pretty far away to meet with a woman who critiqued everything I did, which was more of her personality than something I think they are supposed to do. Anyways, they ask a lot of the same questions as the phone interview but then they throw in those interview questions that find out all about your personality. Like what would you do in this situation, what was your experience with this in the past etc.
The interview with my store manager was really just a formality. We scheduled it with the recruiter at the end and at that point I think she had already given me the green light really. So the store manager was just showing me around the store and making sure my personality was ok with him I guess. He didn't really ask me any questions just asked me if I'd be ok with the schedule etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the second interview process, she asked me several questions about what I would do and my experience was etc. She asked me to tell her a time I had to sell something to a customer, she asked me to tell her about a time I had to deal with a technology related malfunction etc.
