I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Dallas, TX)
Interview
Hiring and Interview process is basically the same as at any global corporation. Screening interview first with HR then second interview with departmental manager.

Question 1
Really do not remember any specific question that stood out as extremely difficult or unexpected. Depends on individual hiring manager and their personal interview style.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Sarasota, FL) in Sep 2012
Interview
I applied online and did some preliminary tests online. I received a call about two weeks later. The HR manager called and stated that they were conducting interviews the following day, but if that wasn't an option, they could also conduct a telephone interview at a later time. Upon the first call, I was given starting pay, anticipated hours working, and an outline of the hiring process. I was scheduled to work the following day, but had a co-worker cover me so I could attend the interview. The hiring manager met me at the door, and lead me to the back office where he was conducting interviews. He asked a series of questions and took notes and it was not intimidating at all. I felt at ease. He delved into the training process and asked if I had any questions. I had some prepared questions, but he answered everything I had anticipated asking, so I felt that he was very upfront about expectations and requirements right from the start. A few days later, I was sent an email asking me to take a second series of online tests, then more waiting for the hiring team to review my responses, finally about two weeks later, the HR manager called and extended a job offer, contingent on passing a drug screen and background check. It was another two weeks before I was contacted at various times by the store manager, the new hire team for training schedule dates and times, and the hr manager following up if I had any questions. It felt like the hiring process took a long time, but i respect the due diligence they perform in trying to find the best candidates for the positions available.

Question 1
Tell me about a time a co-worker had to correct you. What did you say?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Sarasota, FL) in Oct 2012
Interview
I was contacted by the HR manager and was told that they were conducting interviews the following day. I was given specifics up front, approximately how many hours per week, starting pay rate, perks, etc. I was scheduled to work the next day, but I found someone to cover me for a couple of hours and made it happen! I changed into a suit in the parking lot and interviewed at a store the following afternoon. The interview uses the STAR format of questioning, asking to give specific examples and the hiring manager took notes during the entire process. It was one-on-one and I felt very comfortable speaking with him.
