Question 1
Share your background and things you've worked on.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AbbVie (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2022
Interview
Head hunter reached out, 30 minute video with hiring manager, 45 minute meeting with cross functional team members. The hiring manager rushed through the interview, made it clear she had a hard stop, but then took the first 10 minutes talking about herself and how her interview process went. The cross functional team members were super bland, couldn't connect with them, so the interview was dull, sort of just sitting there and staring at me, which made it super awkward during a video interview.
They asked me two weird questions as well, what my favorite cheese and my hobbies were, when I did tell them about one of the great books I was reading, they used the book reference as a reason I wasn't moved to the next round.
