AbbVie first screened me through a phone interview. A few weeks later, I was scheduled to meet with four interviewers for one on one interviews over the course of several hours. The first interviewer was the hiring manager, but the junior-most AbbVie employee that I interviewed with. The interviews certainly improved in succession. Interestingly, the individuals that I interviewed with did not seem to agree with what the others had to say regarding certain topics. I gave the interview a no opinion overall score, as the interview itself was fair and gave me needed experience. However, there was a noted lack of energy among the employees of that particular department, and the seemingly championing of change management through word of mouth and posters on the wall came off as superficial. Overall, AbbVie is a good company, but that particular department could use a leader or two who can effectively establish new energy.
