I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Accenture (Austin, TX) in Feb 2012
Interview
1 behavioral interview followed by 2 cases. Relatively formal and located at the business school on campus. All 3 interviewers were very nice and easy to talk to. They provided a lot of information on Accenture and were willing to help a little on the case interviews. Just be prepared for case interviews - stay calm, think logically, and you'll be fine!

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Accenture (Bengaluru) in Apr 2012
Interview
2 rounds of interview with senior managers. They wanted to know in detail the projects I had worked for in my then-current company. I was in Sales in Telecom and was applying for a Sales Strategy position in Telecom in Accenture. Hence, the detailed interview. I was not questioned on any technicality but they let me explain in detail on how I went about all the projects I had worked on, what were the results and follow ups etc.

Same one-liner question both times - about my previous experience. And a bit about why I was interested in that role.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Accenture in Jan 2015
Interview
I met with a team during a college recruiting session and then applied online for the position. Around 1 month later I was contacted for a phone screen interview with a recruiter. Afterward, I completed two case-based interviews over the phone with senior staff. This was to be followed by a behavioral-based interview, but at that point I needed to accept another position.
