I have interviewed for 3 separate product management positions at Adobe over the past few months.
Process: Recruiter screen > hiring manager > skip level > virtual onsite with engineering, product, sometimes design > Director/VP.
The questions are largely focused on behavior and “tell me a time when…” — looking for data-driven, thoughtful, and customer-focused processes with a clear vision of what you have to offer and what you want out of a career at Adobe. STAR method answers work great. There is also always one product strategy question to talk through as well.
Everyone I have worked with has been incredibly intelligent and kind and very comfortable to interview with. *HOWEVER* recruitment is a mess. I have gotten emails about other candidates meant for someone internal, I have gotten ghosted time after time, I have had to follow up multiple times to get things scheduled when asked for availability… Really shockingly unprofessional department supporting a top tier business. Very off putting first impression, but once you get through to the teams, they are stellar.
I got to final round on one position, midway through on a second, and was NOT a match for a third I interviewed with, so I cut that one off after a first round.
