It was a direct walk in on 21st may, 2016, i.e., a monday.
First Round was a JAM session. There was a lady HR who interviewed me. As I have just completed my exams, she asked me, why do you want to join Amazon and it would be different for different people, based on experience of the candidates and also on the mood of HR. We totally were 15 people in the round and all of us were selected, as each one among the 15 were having good communication skills and most of them were experienced.
Later
Second round was a Versant Round where they checked how well could we type, our listening skills and email writing. Here, they have selected only 4 out of the 15, saying others didn't clear the round and have to leave for the day.
Third round was a telephonic round which isn't that easy to clear. There are 5 major sections in that round, which will test ur speaking skills, listening skills, thinking skills etc.
Here out of the 4, 3 cleared the round and one was asked to leave.
Then finally, it was HR round, so called operations round. But there is nothing called operation over there. HR will be checking your communication skills, your confidence and everything which is mentioned in your resume especially your strengths, weakneses, your achievements, things which had ever gone wrong between you and your faculty, What do you like to be, a team lead or a team player and all that stuff. One among the three was selected as contract basis for 3 to 6 months. And I was selected for permanent voice process. I was given a booklet of 5 pages and a so called looking half sheet like call letter, asking me to be at office again on Monday to decide the salary details and also to give a orientation program about the company.
