I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview entailed a 40 minute or so phone conversation. Odd as during COVID the bulk of interviews I had taken that were not initial screens have been conducted via video. The interviewer seemed very distracted and sounded like they were unloading a dishwasher or doing some other domestic chores at the same time. It was very disappointing to put in effort to prepare only to have the hiring manager pay so little attention.

Question 1
Asked a number of questions pertaining to how conflicts were resolved in my current role. Interviewer made no effort at small talk.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
I worked with several recruiters throughout the process - the first one was meh but the main one that prepped me for the loop interview was great. Two phone interviews then the final loop- five one-hour interviews in a day. Did tons of prep and Interview Genie was extremely helpful- make sure you utilize their resources (and donate to them if it's helpful to you too)!

Prep 2-3 examples for each Leadership Principle. Try to keep it to professional experiences only (unless you're still in school), and practice tailoring your examples to different situations and questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Nashville, TN) in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview process really begins through email with the recruiters. You are asked a series of questions regarding job availability and compensation requirements.
They give you TONS of guidance on what to expect during the interview process. Use it. Study the Amazon Leadership Principles, make sure every example you have is using the STAR response method.
I interviewed with a Senior Program Manager in their Ops Tech Department over Amazon Chime. This interview was audio only but clarify that with your recruiter so you aren't caught in your pajamas. The interviewer asked me questions that required me to give examples, mostly "Tell me about a time when..."
I was notified within a few days that I had made it to the next round. We scheduled time for an interview that would last 4-6 hours. My time was scheduled and I was prepping like crazy. Two days before I was notified that they filled the position.
Recruiters are still working with me to find the right position for me at Amazon and have been incredibly helpful. I don't know if this is normal though.
