I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Berlin)
Interview
5 sets of 1 hour loop interviews. Really positive feedback from 4 of 5 interviewers. It was the Raise the Bar person that 'failed' me. Overall got a really good impression from the team. However, the raise the bar interviewer really drilled me and I could tell that I was not giving her the answers that she wanted. That was the first interview and I had a chance to rethink my answers for subsequent interviews. Overall positive experience expect felt it wasn't just that the raise the bar person could overrule all other opinions
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Jun 2023
Interview
I was immediately thrown to the wolves skipping the HR screening into a interview with a senior member of the team. I was immediately thrown off guard with questions I soon realized I had no business trying to answer. The position was not a fit right from the start.
The interview process consisted of multiple rounds, including a phone interview and 5-6 person loop. I appreciate the company’s policy in which a recruiter is required to provide a prompt decision.
