I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (New York, NY)
Interview
There is a first stage in the process of a technical phone interview oriented to validate areas of domain and expertise. They cover areas of:
- Cloud knowledge
- Artificial Intelligence
- Scalability
- Networking infrastructure
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interesting questions I gather from the technical interview were:
- How to provide assurance to executives about the option of transitioning to the cloud?
- How to address security concerns of data for multi-tenant customers in a SaaS platform?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (New York, NY) in Oct 2024
Interview
Comp negotations first with the recruiter, then a first round interview with the hiring manager via a Chime call. Generally straightforward process. Didn't end up feeling it was a good personality fit (age difference, I think) but it all depends what team you are on.

Question 1
First round was mostly centered around things you've invented outside of work, how you'd tackle an on-prem to cloud migration.
The interview process is lengthy overall where you go through a phone screen, technical interview and then finally the loop. You meet with 4 - 6 people depending on what you selected at your pre-interview questions. There is one person in the interview panel that is the bar raiser. //if you can impress him/her, you stand a high chance of getting the offer.

Question 1
Have you encountered a situation where you had to disagree with your manager, what was the outcome? Could you have done it differently?
