During the behavioral portion, the interviewer expected responses to follow the STAR format, which stands for Situation, Task, Action, and Result, as this helps structure answers around specific examples demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills. Since the role was for program management, many of the questions were centered around process optimization and analytics, reflecting the responsibilities typical in this field. Each round further explored my ability to manage programs effectively, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions. This deeper dive into my leadership skills and experience with program management tools and strategies was key to the overall interview process.
