I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Express (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Aug 2024
Interview
There were two interviews, both were Technical+HR. In the first interview, two panelists were present who asked me questions on python, discussed my projects on data analytics and gave some situational questions to answer. Apart from this, theory questions on dbms, sql and some puzzle questions were also asked. The interview went on for 55 minutes.
For the second round, 5 out of 12 students were shortlisted. The interviewer asked technical questions mostly. She described a question to me and asked me to write a sql query for it. That was a complicated question. Then many questions related to sql theory, basic mathematics like mean, median, mode, standard deviation, probability, questions were asked. Overall the experience was pretty smooth and can be easily cleared if you have a knowledge of data analysis.
