regular phone screen invite half a month after my application. Less than 30min, talked about my experience and qualifications, and the recruiter spent some time walking my through the position, team and compensation. Said I'd hear back in one week but heard zero and got automatic rejection over a month later
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Express (Mumbai) in Aug 2024
Interview
Interview was pretty straight forward, they'll check your ability to learn and adapt to the work and how well can you handle the pressure.
2 rounds of interview where 1st was about why this job, 2nd mostly about why you and not someone else
2 rounds of behavior interviews with a few questions about basic finance stuff. Asked about American express basic operations and if I had a minimum understanding of finance. Overall easy interview but also because I was a sophomore in college, did not really focus on me knowing that much.
