Good it was amazing yes I enjoyed myself. I felt comfortable enough to speak fine and fluid. I wasn’t nervous because I knew the information being discussed. Even though there were a lot of difficult questions I prevailed after much. Determination

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Apple (Sacramento, CA) in Sep 2023
Interview
Two phases, screening interview and then a webex interview. Both are short interviews and not in depth minus a role play scenario at end of video interview. As others have stated this is an entry level position and they train for the entire position, they use the second interview to weed out those with zero computer literacy as well as their thinly veiled ageism policies. I went through the process to see if this was indeed true. I have been through enough interviews to know when they go well and Apple has headhunted and offered me positions at higher levels previously. I was told I would get a reason for not getting hired if I wasn't chosen for one of the many positions available. This never happened and when I contacted them they stated that the position was highly competitive and they had received a ton of interest. Oddly I was overqualified and the position was still available for both the current training as well as their January sessions. A friend who told me about the position pretty much guaranteed the only reason I wasn't hired was my age (over 40).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic situational questions used to see how you would react in different situations and the for me a lot of questions about how I would handle a position below my normal skill usage as well as a role play question she said was unsolvable.
