Apple Technical Support Engineer interview questions

The job position was for Cork (Ireland). I first received a meeting invitation from somebody in HR. As it was the 1st interview, I was expecting more HR questions but it wasn't like that. All the questions were really theoretical. Questions: What is an Active Directory? What does Microsoft Exchange Server do? Tell me about e-mail protocols? How would you handle a problem in the server? Tell me errors you can get from a server? What is the difference between SQL, MySQL and NoSQL ?What is mobile device management? I already felt the interview didn't go so well. After several weeks I received the email that they had decided to go for another candidate.
