Interview
I applied for the role on the Arm website. A short while later I was asked to complete the Arm Chemistry online test. Two weeks later I was invited to interview.
I took the day off to prepare and make sure that I could attend. The allotted time came and went but the interviewer didn’t show-up. Over the next week I chased for a re-schedule. Finally I received a boilerplate email response telling me that that I was not suitable for the role.
Some points for Arm to consider. They should not send invites to people who are not suitable. If they cancel, then they should let people know. If they can’t manage the first two points, then apologise.
It was an exciting role in a speciality where I have a load of experience. I’d never attend an interview unprepared, so I invested time getting ready – a day of holiday that I’d much rather have spent with my family.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Arm (Mountain View, CA) in Aug 2018
Interview
Not a great experience. Standard interview process with phone screen, followed by onsite, followed by HR. Pretty poor job by the company in not informing about the results of the interview. The hiring manager claimed we don't keep candidates in hanging but never heard feedback. Seemed pretty unprofessional.

Interview
Initial phone interview with hiring manager and after a week later with engineering manager. I was invited to the campus for a day long face to face interview with the team. It started with a presentation to the panel followed by Q&A, then face to face with 5 people.
