      Hardware Verification Engineer Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Arm

      Interview

I took the first automated assessment, during which I was presented with a few questions on the subjects described in the job posting. A couple of weeks later, I had a video interview with two very friendly people on some technical questions, after a short presentation of ARM and its business. The kind of questions presented and the nature of the interviewers themselves made me feel right at home, like during my studies on electrical and computer engineering. I enjoyed it.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Questions on computer architecture, bitwise C, exercise on HDL/C/pseudocode for an FSM, logical circuits There was an emphasis on describing my thought process for my solutions rather than their actual results.
