I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Arm (Madison, WI) in Sep 2019
Interview
Career fair on Wednesday. Get called and messaged at night to be scheduled for a 10AM interview the next day. First interview of my life, do not know what to expect.
TECHNICAL INTERVIEW. Was straight to the point. The interviewers helped me if i was getting stuck, but a heads up would've been better.
Just got denied today after 5 weeks of waiting.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Draw FSM to detect 01101 from 01101101, and it could repeat.
After applying for a position and being discarded, I was contacted for another position focused on Python programming of validation and testing scripts.
No one shows up on the first date because recruitment had communicated to the interviewer a different time than mine. Unfortunately I could not do the interview at the time they wanted. They thank me for the collaboration :-| then we agree for another day of the following week.
For the interview I had reviewed some Python fundamentals (even if I work every day, a review doesn't hurt) but the interview only revolves exclusively around C ++, the C ++ compiler and real time operating systems and not. All topics on which I am prepared, but which I would have liked to review before the interview as they were part of my cultural background of previous work experiences.
The interview was pleasant, interesting, and the interviewers were nice, anyway I didn't turn out to be up to the role and it's a real shame, because the topics covered were very interesting, but unfortunately I wasn't able to excel enough during the interview. The recruitment emailed me the usual copy and paste email, no feedback that can help you understand what topics you need to prepare better.

Question 1
Main questions around: C++ languages, C++ exercises, how C++ compiler works.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Arm (Cambridge, East of England, England) in Sep 2019
Interview
The process went through a phone screening, a Skype-based high-level technical interview, and a Skype-based more detailed technical interview. We stopped the process at that point, although there was an initial plan for an on-site detailed technical interview.
The whole process has been fantastic. The HR manager was very diligent, the hiring managers were nice, open, and the best examples employees satisfied with their company.
I did not get an offer as another candidate was better for the position, but the whole experience has been positive. I appreciated the final announcement, detailed with clear reasons for their decision. I applause at such a rare and proper closure---an example many companies of this size should follow.
