Technical questions, e.g asked to assign an NMR spectrum
Total of 3 interviews. One with the recruiter, second with hiring manager, third with a panel of 6 individuals. (Director to scientist). The recruiter had basic questions straight from my resume. The panel was the most challenging. The interviews were scheduled back to back with minimal schedulers break. A week after the panel interview, I got a call back from the recruiter that there was an offer.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AstraZeneca (Gaithersburg, MD) in Feb 2023
Interview
After an initial HR screen and a video call with the potential manager, I was invited for an onsite interview. I spoke with 10 people from 8 am to 3 pm, including a group lunch. There was a mix of personality and technical questions, so it is best to study the content in the job listing well. The campus is huge and parking can be difficult, so get there early to make sure you know where you're going.
